In my visual art practice, I take commissions and occasionally show my work. I’ve studied watercolor and figure painting with Charles Reid and Fred Graff. I’ve often been asked to teach Western and Asian painting to kids.

Like writing essays or biography, I regard painting faces and figures as another way of gaining insight into my subjects, my awareness of the world, and my relationship with both.
